We at ZAZA-CHF are happy to introduce our new girl Victoria. She will be attending her secondary education at OLMOTI school in Arusha.

We met Victoria begging on the street for money to pay for the medical evaluation mandatory for secondary school. After a short interaction and many tears it became clear that she was terrified not being able to attend school the next semester. We took her back to her home and signed her up as a new ZAZA addition immediately.

Victoria is a 13 years old girl living in a tiny one room mud house with her mother, grand mother and siblings. She is the second born out of four. They all got kicked out of the house by their father when her mother was pregnant with the last child and ended up where they are now. Asha is unemployed, she does any day to day job that comes by. Such as sweeping floors, washing clothes or as a waiter at the local bar. Victorias grandmother grinds gravel in a pit “mpasua kokoto”. She sometimes is not getting paid for up to a month if the gravel has not been sold. Our work and your donations will help take burden from the whole family and help Victoria to a bright future. Thank you!
