Karen Akyo (6) and Sharon Akyo (4) are sisters living in Usa River, Arusha. They live with their mother Elizabeth in a tiny mud-hut, without furniture or sanitary instalments. Sleeping on the floor. Their mother Elizabeth suffers from mental disabilities from the time she was born. The three of them live by the mercy of others. Sometimes Elizabeth can do simple homework, like washing clothes, for the neighbours.  The little food she is given that way is not enough, so Karen and Sharon can often be seen on the streets looking for food.

Your Donation will help Karen and Sharon go to boarding school in Arusha.  The Maua English Medium School (Maua means Flowers). The Maua English Medium School is one among the Top 5 primary boarding and day schools in Arusha, with high academic performance and care for the children.  Your Donation contributes to pay for Karen and Sharon health care insurance, meals, accommodation transport and education, including books and everything a child needs to blossom.
